Welcome to Culture Care ("we," "our," or "us").
By using our website, mobile application, and related services (the "Platform"), you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to comply with these Terms and all applicable laws. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. Services Provided
Culture Care connects clients with mental health professionals based on cultural attributes and therapeutic needs. We provide:
- •A directory of licensed therapists and providers.
- •Tools for matching, scheduling, messaging, and billing.
- •Secure hosting of health and cultural preference information.
We do not provide emergency or crisis services. If you are in crisis, call 911 (U.S.) or your local emergency number immediately.
3. Eligibility
•You must be at least 18 years old to create an account (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction).
•If you are under 18, you may only use the Platform with a parent or legal guardian's involvement.
•Providers must be properly licensed and credentialed to deliver mental health services.
4. User Responsibilities
When using the Platform, you agree to:
•Provide accurate and complete information.
•Maintain the confidentiality of your account login.
•Use the Platform only for lawful purposes.
•Respect therapists, clients, and staff — harassment or abusive behavior will result in account suspension.
5. Therapist Responsibilities
Therapists using the Platform agree to:
Professional Standards: Maintain all required professional licenses and certifications.
Compliance: Comply with HIPAA, state, and federal regulations.
Ethical Practice: Deliver services consistent with professional ethical standards.
Accuracy: Keep profiles accurate and updated.
6. Cultural Matching Disclaimer
- •Our matching algorithm suggests providers based on preferences and cultural attributes, but final choice is always up to the client.
- •Culture Care does not guarantee a therapeutic "fit" or clinical outcome.
- •Clients may change providers at any time.
7. Payments & Billing
•Payments for therapy services are handled through secure third-party processors.
•You are responsible for fees not covered by insurance.
•Some therapists may accept insurance; availability is indicated on their profiles.
•Cancellation and rescheduling policies are set by each provider and displayed before booking.
8. Privacy & Security
- •We comply with HIPAA where applicable.
- •Use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
- •By using the Platform, you consent to our data practices described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to:
Misrepresent your identity.
Interfere with the operation of the Platform.
Attempt to access data without authorization.
Post harmful, discriminatory, or illegal content.
10. Intellectual Property
- •All content on the Platform (logos, text, software, graphics) is owned by Culture Care or its licensors.
- •You may not copy, modify, or distribute content without written permission.
11. Limitation of Liability
- •Culture Care is not liable for the actions, advice, or outcomes of therapy provided by independent providers.
- •We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free service.
- •To the maximum extent allowed by law, Culture Care's liability is limited to the amount you paid for services in the preceding 12 months.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Culture Care, its officers, employees, and partners from any claims, liabilities, or expenses arising from your use of the Platform or violation of these Terms.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in behavior that threatens the safety of others. You may stop using the Platform and close your account at any time.
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas and applicable federal law. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts located in Dallas County, Texas.
